Challenge context
Day 18 of the ongoing $0–$10,000 payout challenge.
Recorded executed-trade result
One grouped MGC journal entry records +2.55R across two actual winning executions. This is one journalled sequence, not one execution. The +2.55R is counted once; the individual leg returns are not separately recorded.
Trading review
The original long was closed in profit when a trailing stop was hit before the original target. After that original target would have been reached, a separate short reversal was taken outside the plan and won. The trader intentionally journalled the two executions together. The positive result does not remove the stop-management and plan-adherence issues.
Key lesson
A profitable reversal outside the plan still needs to be recorded as a process violation.
Focus for the next session
Manage the original position against the planned stop and target, and assess each new entry independently against the trading plan.
Reporting context
Trades=1 reflects one grouped Advanced Journal entry covering two actual winning executions. The recorded +2.55R is included once. Summary win rate and expectancy use that one grouped journal record, not independent execution-level observations. These are self-reported journal results, not independently verified broker statements. R measures recorded trade outcomes, not cash profit or payouts. Copied executions across accounts do not multiply strategy R. Results follow the journal/session date in Australia/Brisbane.
